Countdown to

Go Pink Day 24

Go Pink Africa Day 24

About Go Pink Day 24 (GPD24)

The theme for the 2024 October cancer outreach was “BETTER THAN ONE”

Although one person can make a meaningful contribution in the fight against breast cancer; by joining forces and collaborating as a community, we can achieve far more than any individual effort could.

For the seventh October in a row, Pink Africa Foundation fought cancer to a standstill. The Go Pink Day 24 (GPD24) project marked a significant upgrade by Pink Africa Foundation from one city outreach to multiple cities across Africa. The Go Pink Africa featured "Strike Breast Cancer" female football matches among secondary school girls in cities in Ethiopia, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Benin Republic and Cameroon.

The Go Pink Day 24 was supported by UICC, the global cancer control body, NCS (Nigerian Cancer Society), MWAN (Medical Women Association of Nigeria), ASI Ukpo Cancer Centre, Lions Club and several corporate partners.

It is a call to action by EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, AT EVERY AGE, ON EVERY STAGE.
